Credentials
Joyce became an Enrolled Agent in 2007 and a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute in 2014. Before moving to Maine in 2011 and purchasing Taxes Plus Corporation, she managed a retail tax office for 20 years and taught continuing-education classes to tax preparers in international, rental and depreciation topics.
A leader in the field, she served six years on the board of MaSEA (Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents), the last two as President, and was named Massachusetts Enrolled Agent of the Year in 2013. She also served six years with the NAEA on the Board Nominating and the Bylaws & Governance committees.
Our Team
With Taxes Plus for 7 years, Brynn keeps expanding her tax knowledge — earning her AFSP certification and logging countless hours of NATP training. Detail-minded and puzzle-loving, she is also the office's tech support. Off the clock: gardening and travel.
With Taxes Plus since 2021, Joey excels at system development, keeping the firm's practices consistent and the office running at a high level.
Our beloved crew, some seen more rarely than others. Monroe is the most outgoing, often lounging in the front office or standing watch at the front window.
In memory of Ronald C. Arsenault (1948–2013), who founded Taxes Plus and owned it for over 25 years — a Suffolk University Master's in Taxation and a professor at Rivier University and Southern New Hampshire University.
